Say you are a girl, and unfortunately, you get attacked. You want to be able to reach quickly into your purse and pull out the pepper spray. You don't want to reach into your purse, and then have to pause as you choose between the pepper spray, taser, mace, pistol, and switch blade. Keep it simple, and keep yourself safe.
