5 allows for the impoundment of the nuisance vehicle for a maximum of 48 hours. In addition, the offender may be ordered to not use the vehicle again for the purposes of prostitution or pandering. A violation of this order would result in a 48 hour impoundment.

Pandering is a felony, punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for 2, 4, or 6 years. However, if the prostitute is a minor over the age of 16 years, pandering is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for 3, 4, or 6 years.
